Has anyone used an egg cuber to make square Deviled eggs? Does this gadget work well?

We got an egg cuber. It works, but you have to leave it in the cuber for a long time, otherwise it starts to reform back to it's natural shape. We joked about making deviled eggs with, but I never had the patience to do it.

I would imagine that if it took a long time, that serving deviled eggs for 6 probably wouldn't be very fun (unless you bough 6 egg cubers!)

but why would one even want square eggs? Their natural shape is so much sexier and elegant! :-)

Square eggs are easier to transport...and it'd be fun to see reactions to their unusual shape. :P
