I’ve never been a huge fan of kale. I’m more of a chard girl. To me kale is that stuff in the salad bar stuffed in between the dressing crocks for decoration.
But I got a nice looking bundle of it in my CSA box last week and I’m determined to figure out one or two recipes I can live with. Word on the street is it’s damn good for you.
So, who here likes kale, and what do you DO with it?

Mon, July 13, 2009 - 6:12 PMI love kale, especially the dinosaur kale that's popular lately. Fry some bacon and onions, drain the grease then steam the kale with some chopped apple bits for a few minutes. Throw in garlic and or ginger or other tasty flavors.
